A book to enjoy over the summer break. The character Stella is a character my students were able to connect with. Stella talks about the struggles of balancing two languages and two cultures. The struggle of feeling different even though at the end of the story she learned she was not different but rather unique. Stella sent such a powerful message to my students that I felt they needed to have the 2nd book.
