Large, clearly printed anchor charts allow students to visually reference key concepts such as rigid transformations, triangle congruence, and angle relationships throughout the learning process. Instead of information disappearing after a lesson, these charts remain posted in the room as consistent visual supports. This helps students revisit vocabulary, formulas, and diagrams as they solve problems, which strengthens retention and builds confidence—especially for students who benefit from seeing math concepts represented visually.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is that the charts are large, colorful, and interactive. Because they are laminated, we can write on them with dry-erase markers during lessons, allowing students to come up to the board and annotate diagrams, trace transformations, or highlight congruent parts of figures. This turns the charts into active learning tools rather than static posters. Students often reference them during group work or when explaining their reasoning, which encourages mathematical discussion and deeper understanding.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who typically struggle with abstract concepts have especially benefited from these visual supports. In particular, students who are visual learners or who need additional scaffolding now have clear, step-by-step examples displayed around the classroom. I have already seen students walk over to an anchor chart to check their thinking before asking for help, which shows growing independence and confidence in their learning. Thanks to your generosity, these materials are helping create a classroom environment where students can consistently see, reference, and interact with the mathematics they are learnin","fullyFundedDate":1764599272749,"projectUrl":"project/help-students-remember-more-lets-crea/9528602/","projectTitle":"Help Students Remember More. I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to build something meaningful. With your support, I was able to set up a dual monitor workstation for Ms. Ursula Gordon using a Mount-It standing desk, a dual monitor mount, and two Samsung ultra-wide monitors.\r\n\r\nThe initial experience building this setup was challenging as you may know it does not matter how technologically advanced you are at technology hardware or software building something in this field is not easy, it took hard work, perseverance and a LOT of sweat. Nonetheless it was fun. The process was both challenging and rewarding. Even with my experience in technology, assembling and configuring equipment like this takes patience, perseverance, and focus—but I enjoyed every moment. My interest in technology goes back to elementary school, when I first fixed my teacher's smartboard by simply restarting it. She didn't believe I had done it until my classmates confirmed it, and that moment sparked my passion for helping others through technology.\r\n\r\nFast forward years later I've been here at South Atlanta High School Helping a multitude of teachers fix different types of technology it was only when Ms. Gordon asked me to do this. It sparked a real excitement in my mind. This is not the first time that I've built something like this, but it's her asking me to do this in which I got excited yet the process was hard, I had a couple mistakes nonetheless i got it done and now the same setup i am currently mentioning about is the same one that i am writing this letter to you for.\r\n\r\nIn all, I just want to express my gratitude for the opportunity to be able to do this. I really learned something from this experience and has sparked something in my mind to want to keep going and expand my technological skills. Nonetheless once again I am Rahjon Williams. I want to thank you all and hopefully this is not the last time I will have an opportunity to do this.\r\n\r\nSincerely,\r\nRahjon!","fullyFundedDate":1747077078414,"projectUrl":"project/equity-in-technology-ii/9062007/","projectTitle":"Equity in Technology II","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gordon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3716456_orig.png?crop=320,320,x0,y7&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741285261949","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3716456"},{"teacherId":8330916,"projectId":9179923,"letterContent":"My students are so excited for this project!
