The flexible seating options you funded have created a more inclusive and engaging learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all my students.\r\n\r\nEach day, I see the impact in small but powerful ways. Students who once struggled to stay focused now choose seats that help them move and regulate their energy while learning. My students with autism and sensory needs have found comfort and calm in their preferred spaces. Even my most active learners are able to channel their movement in positive ways, helping them stay on task and participate more fully. Their absolute favorite addition has been the wiggle pads—they love using them on their chairs to stay comfortable and focused during lessons!\r\n\r\nThe joy and ownership my students feel when choosing where to sit have built a stronger sense of independence and community in our classroom. The flexible seating has encouraged collaboration, respect, and confidence—helping every child feel valued and capable.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has made a lasting difference in our classroom. Your contribution has made a significant impact on both my ability to plan and conduct therapy sessions, and on the overall experience of my students as we began the new school year. Starting the year with the right tools at hand is a gift that cannot be overstated, and your kindness made that possible.\r\nBecause of your thoughtful donation, I was able to begin the school year with a greater sense of preparedness and enthusiasm. The laminating sheets have been especially helpful—I've used them to create durable, reusable visual supports, communication boards, and interactive activities that support my students' speech and language goals. These materials are used daily, and having them laminated ensures that they will last much longer, which is crucial when working with young learners who benefit from tactile, hands-on resources.\r\nIn addition, the cleaning supplies you provided have allowed me to maintain a safe and hygienic environment in my therapy room. This is especially important in a school setting, where many students may have compromised immune systems or other health considerations. Your donation helped me prioritize their well-being and create a space where students and staff feel safe and cared for.\r\nOne of the most exciting ways your donation has enriched our classroom is through the books that were purchased. I've been able to build therapy sessions around two engaging book themes so far this year, and the results have been wonderful. Books are a powerful tool in speech-language therapy, as they provide opportunities for students to build vocabulary, answer questions, make predictions, and practice sequencing—all while enjoying a good story.\r\nA particular favorite among my students has been There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books. This fun and silly story captured their attention immediately! It has sparked laughter, curiosity, and countless opportunities for language development. We used it to work on retelling the story in the correct order, identifying key vocabulary words, and even doing related crafts and games. It's always a joy to see students excited about learning, and this book truly brought that joy into our sessions.\r\nYour generosity has gone far beyond just providing materials—it has helped create meaningful, memorable learning experiences for my students. It has lightened my load as an educator and allowed me to focus more on what matters most: helping students grow, communicate, and succeed.\r\nThank you again for your support. Your donation has made a real difference in our classroom, and we are incredibly grateful for your kindness. It's people like you who help ensure that every student, regardless of their challenges, has access to high-quality learning experiences and the tools they need to thrive.\r\n\r\nWith sincere appreciation,","fullyFundedDate":1746787007525,"projectUrl":"project/speech-and-language-therapy-fun/9213364/","projectTitle":"Speech and Language Therapy Fun!!!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Long","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3222495_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y276&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1691603120720","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3222495"},{"teacherId":8431100,"projectId":9489117,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your help.
