They said, \"We don't have to cut the cards out by hand this year?! And, \"We have such cool treats to pass out this year!\" \r\nI printed out over 400 positive affirmation cards and my students colored them neatly and wrote a positive note on the back of each one. Such as, \"You are loved\", \"We are glad you are here\"' or \"You belong here.\" \r\nThe last week before Christmas break, we visited every classroom in the building handing out the positive affirmation cards with a treat for every child! I heard comments such as, \"Did you see that little kids face?\", \"That little girl was so sweet when I gave her a treat!\", and \"This is so much fun making other people happy!\" My students truly learned how important it is to spread kindness and joy to others. While our Museum Project is far from finished, my students are eagerly digging into what we are going to be able to do. \r\n\r\nWe have utilized the filament to design and create fidgets, to create origami cranes, and to encourage and support our learning. It's been exciting to watch my students bury themselves in the software to learn to design 3D prints. It's remarkable to see their creations come to fruition and be something physical they can take home and share. \r\n\r\nI'm looking forward to what they continue to do, especially as we delve further into our learning for the year.
