Your support has made a remarkable difference in our classroom environment, and I am thrilled to share the impact it has already had on my students. When the rug arrived, the excitement in the room was palpableāstudents couldn't wait to sit on it, and many of them commented on how cozy and inviting it made our classroom feel. We've used it during our morning meetings, read-aloud sessions, and small group discussions, and it has truly become the heart of our learning space. The comfort and organization it provides have allowed us to engage more deeply with each other and with the lessons at hand.\r\n\r\nOne particular moment that stands out was during our recent project on community and teamwork. The rug became a collaborative space where students worked together in groups to create posters about how to be a good neighbor. As they shared ideas and collaborated, I could see their sense of ownership and pride in their work, and I believe the rug contributed to this by fostering a space where they felt comfortable and ready to engage with one another. The comfort it offers has definitely encouraged more interaction and discussion, allowing us to explore lessons more deeply than ever before.\r\n\r\nThis new resource has truly enhanced our classroom experience, and I can't thank you enough for making it possible. Your generosity has allowed us to create a more welcoming and effective space for learning, and I look forward to sharing more moments of growth and learning with you in the future!","fullyFundedDate":1732142056656,"projectUrl":"project/cozy-classroom-rug/8564861/","projectTitle":"Cozy Classroom Rug","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Young","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2406050_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1468426015483","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-mary-young"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_33906","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":226,"numTeachers":18,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":9,"percentWhite":71,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":64.9,"schoolId":33906,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Snow Creek Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Snow Creek Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/virginia/franklin-county-public-schools/snow-creek-elementary-school/33906"}
