Students feel empowered using it. To them its a 'real' power tool so they were surprised to find out that students are allowed to use it. And I know that it is safe so I don't have to hover as they work.\r\n\r\nThere is a small learning curve to using it. So a few students have become the experts and support others. Its been wonderful to see these leaders emerge because a few of them struggle socially and/or academically and it is an amazing shift to see them teaching their peers.\r\n\r\nI could go on and on describing individual moments that have transpired because of the addition of the ChompSaw into our room.
