I am the art teacher at Shining Stars Preschool, and I want to share how this amazing tool has helped transform our art room. The children are absolutely fascinated by it. In our program, we focus on a different nursery rhyme each month. This August, our nursery rhyme and theme is \"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,\" and the new light table has quickly become the biggest highlight of the entire unit. It is truly wonderful to see the students excited to come to art class each day.\r\nThe children have been using the table to create their very own glowing star constellations. If you work with three- and four-year-olds, you know that capturing their attention can sometimes be a creative challenge! However, it has been amazing to watch them settle down and focus at this new station. They sit together, carefully picking up individual glow-in-the-dark stars and intentionally arranging them across the bright, illuminated surface. They get the biggest smiles when they see their pictures come alive before their eyes, and they love naming the unique shapes they create. It is a wonderful way to naturally develop their fine motor skills while encouraging creativity and imagination.\r\nI want to share a moment from this week that truly showed the value of your donation. One of my students, who usually rushes through art projects in a couple of minutes, spent almost half of his art time carefully placing stars on the table. He was completely absorbed, intentionally choosing where each star should go to build a massive \"shining dinosaur\" constellation in the sky. He was so incredibly proud of his creation, tracing the glowing lines with his fingers. He even brought his friends over to show them the \"magic space dino\" he had built. It was a wonderful moment of deep focus and pride that would not have happened without this resource.\r\nYour thoughtful gift has provided a truly magical, hands-on sensory experience that easily connects early literacy, science, and creative art. It transforms a simple nursery rhyme they sing into an interactive project they can touch, manipulate, and build themselves. At this age, tactile and visual learning are incredibly important, and this table provides both. It has brought a whole new level of joy and excitement to my daily teaching experience.\r\nWe are all deeply grateful for your kindness and your wonderful investment in our young artists. Thank you for believing in our classroom and for making our school a much brighter place, both literally and figuratively. We will use this wonderful table for many years to come, and every time we turn it on, we will remember your amazing support.
