They also keep score and track progress, which helps them understand improvement and set personal goals.\r\nWhen the equipment first arrived, the excitement was immediate. Many students had never played disc golf before, so seeing the baskets set up around campus created a lot of curiosity and enthusiasm. Students quickly began practicing different throws and encouraging each other as they learned the game.\r\nMoving forward, we are expanding lessons to include skill challenges, mini tournaments, and teamwork activities. The Molten volleyballs allow us to run structured drills and games that help students develop teamwork, communication, and coordination skills. Additionally, the Callaway golf balls and alignment sticks help students learn proper swing mechanics and accuracy during golf lessons.\r\nStudents were thrilled to see the upgraded equipment and immediately noticed the difference in quality and performance. Participation and engagement have increased as more students feel motivated to practice and improve. Moving forward, we are expanding skill stations, small-group competitions, and cooperative challenges that promote sportsmanship and active learning. Instead of guessing what to fix, they can see their swing data, understand why a shot behaved a certain way, and make adjustments immediately. This has made practices more efficient, purposeful, and engaging.\r\n\r\nWhat excites the students the most is the simulator environment. They love being able to see their shots on a virtual driving range, especially on days when weather keeps us indoors. This positive reinforcement has fostered a sense of community and motivation within the classroom, making learning more engaging and enjoyable. When students first saw the Snacks Corner, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity, and many eagerly shared their plans to visit it after finishing their equivalent experience, which created a lively and supportive classroom atmosphere.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my students are now preparing for their upcoming quarter 2 assessment. They will be working on a station review where they look over what they have learned. The students are eager to apply their knowledge and are already discussing ideas and strategies during class discussions. Our next steps include collaborative group work, where students will develop presentations to explain their findings which foster both their mathematical understanding and their communication skills.
