Not only do we not have to deal with having to go searching for sharp knives, or having to waste so much time and energy to scrub old pots and pans, but we we are using every single mixer, mixing bowl, seasoning, and baking pan almost daily! One student said, \"It's like Christmas again!\"\r\n\r\nOur class has been so much happier with our materials because it makes them feel more professional and gives them the quality they deserve while learning how to cook and enjoying the time in our kitchens! Every piece that was delivered was on time and used as soon as it was taken out of the boxes! To say the least, every kitchen is a little more possessive about their pots and pans! And now, nobody is ever out of cleaning rags or oven mitts! \r\n\r\nMy students are taking such great care of everything that they received, and I know that without these materials, the rest of the year would have had a much different outcome! We have been able to utilize these materials not only for extra curricular events and after school programs, but we were even able to cater to a huge organization for over 150 guests! It would not have been possible without your generous donation!\r\n\r\nThis class desperately needed these new tools in our kitchens and things to kind hearted people like you, we were able to \"travel\" around the world to multiple countries and create dishes and desserts exactly how we had envisioned for a second semester.\r\n\r\nI hope you know that from the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful and we will continue to show our gratitude through cooking and sharing our love of it with our community!","fullyFundedDate":1768511358549,"projectUrl":"project/lets-get-to-cookin/9939303/","projectTitle":"Let's Get to Cookin'!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Beck","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3331353_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755317991447","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3331353"},{"teacherId":3331353,"projectId":9610223,"letterContent":"Without cameras, the first part of our school year for our photography class, was really hard to do! Not only did our students have to use their cell phones, but they were not really able to capture photos the way we wanted to. \r\n\r\nWith these cameras, I know that my students are taking pictures with rigor and validity. They are using them similar to how they would use a film camera. They also ensure that students are not getting their photos from the Internet, collecting the cameras at the end of the class period gives me complete access to be memory card!\r\n\r\nKnowing how much these cameras cost and what they came with, was absolutely huge for my students. They love the compact and ease of use. They now know that they can get their own digital cameras and can experience what it's like to use devices that we don't see as often anymore!","fullyFundedDate":1764617280169,"projectUrl":"project/point-focus-shoot-cameras-for-begin/9610223/","projectTitle":"Point, Focus, Shoot, - Cameras for Beginner Photographers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Beck","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3331353_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755317991447","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3331353"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_36215","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":164,"numTeachers":12,"percentFrplEligible":37,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":66,"percentIndigenous":6,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"13.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":0.0,"schoolId":36215,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Seward High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Seward High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/alaska/kenai-peninsula-borough-sd/seward-high-school/36215"}
