Before receiving this incredible resource, our classroom relied on two smaller, less detailed models and paper labeling diagrams to study the anatomy of the heart. These materials, while helpful, did not provide the depth and engagement necessary for a comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.\r\n\r\nThanks to your contribution, our students now have access to a high-quality, detailed heart model identical to the one used in Anatomy and Physiology classes at St. Philip's College, with whom we have a valued partnership. This model has significantly enhanced our lessons, offering a three-dimensional, interactive experience that has captivated student interest far beyond traditional diagrams. The increased detail and size have allowed students to explore and understand complex structures more effectively, leading to improved engagement and learning outcomes.\r\n\r\nYour support has made a profound difference in our classroom, providing an invaluable tool that I would not have been able to afford without your help. The Denoyer-Geppert Heart Model has enabled students to visualize and comprehend the intricate structures and functions of the heart more clearly. This hands-on tool has fostered critical thinking and active participation, allowing me to incorporate more dynamic, interactive teaching strategies that were not possible before. Thank you for investing in our students' education and for helping to inspire the next generation of scientists and healthcare professionals.","fullyFundedDate":1730480727522,"projectUrl":"project/a-better-heart-model-for-better-learning/8490839/","projectTitle":"A Better Heart Model for Better Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Noble","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9588353"},{"teacherId":9606379,"projectId":8517397,"letterContent":"Thank you for helping me make my classroom accessible and beautiful for the 2024-2025 school year. My students walked in on the very first day and exclaimed, \"It looks like a Geography classroom in here!\"\r\n\r\nFor many years, I have handmade decorations and used outdated, hand-me-down maps and posters. This year I was able to have up to date, usable materials that are appropriate for my high school students (I came from middle school). The huge map on the back wall is excellent for me to use when I'm teaching because students can really see what part of the world I am referencing when I am trying to explain where we are in relation to others.\r\n\r\nThe extra touches really help my classroom feel like home. I really enjoy being in my classroom as it helps me feel ready for the day when I walk in every morning. A positive atmosphere that puts me in the right frame of mind has really made a difference in how I approach my students and my subject every day.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity to my classroom.
