I also try to advocate and bring awareness to the different ways students can communicate. The teacher pay teacher gift cards that were provided by this project allowed me to access the materials and technology to do just that! \r\n The gift cards were used to purchase an AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) awareness presentation that was used in a classroom to teach my student and her peers about using pictures and devices to communicate. They were also used to provide my students with motivating games and activities that target sound production, grammar, and story comprehension. \r\n My students and I cannot thank you enough for your support of my classroom.
