My students love Coding in Kindergarten. It seems simple, yet it helps them to learn the simplified version of coding through the use of a device that looks a lot like a mouse. This brings another level to their learning of anything curriculum related and coding at the same time!\r\n\r\nChildren get bored easily. The same drill and flashcard teaching that was used when I was in elementary school isn't as effective as was thought. Using a game bored with numbers, quantities, letters, nonsense words, sight words, the possibilities are endless. Children learn through play. This holds true with coding in kindergarten.
