We use it daily in every music class K-3.\r\nMy classroom is right next to the cafeteria where most students pass by on their way to breakfast in the mornings. Since I don't see my students every day, it was a big deal when they spotted something new from the hallway as they passed by. They were so excited and would point and ask about it. Some asked to come in and look at it closer. \r\nIn class I have talked to them about caring for the rug and some have even offered to take off their shoes top keep it cleaner (which I denied, ha!). They absolutely love having a designated spot to sit while I do parts of my lessons like reading stories, singing, and pointing to things on my board.\r\nThe rug has become an important part of my classroom set-up, creating a special place for students to go for portions of my music lessons.
