They directly support North Carolina science objective PS.6.2.5, which asks students to investigate electrical energy transfer and explain why a circuit needs a complete loop. With these kits, students can build circuits, test their ideas, and see what happens when the loop is open or closed. These experiences make an abstract concept easier to understand.\r\n\r\nThe solar robot kit has sparked excitement and amazement as students discover that energy from sunlight can power a robot. It gives them a meaningful connection between renewable energy and engineering. The chemistry kits also help bring basic concepts, such as acids and bases, to life through hands-on exploration.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I appreciate the chemistry activity book because it helps me find engaging experiments using everyday materials without spending additional money. Activities such as the balloon-and-water experiment give students opportunities to observe, ask questions, and explain their thinking.\r\n\r\nThe rolling whiteboard has become another valuable classroom tool. I use it to provide additional directions, draw examples, and break concepts into smaller steps for students who need extra support.
