These resources have transformed the way my classroom functions on a daily basis by allowing me to better meet the diverse academic, emotional, and learning needs of my students. Many of my students require additional support, structure, and encouragement in order to be successful, and having access to high-quality materials has made a meaningful difference in their ability to participate fully in learning. Instead of struggling with limited resources, students are now able to engage more confidently with lessons that feel approachable, interactive, and purposeful.\r\n\r\nThe materials provided through this project have allowed me to expand my instructional strategies and create lessons that are more hands-on and student-centered. I am now able to offer differentiated activities that support a wide range of ability levels while still holding students to high expectations. These resources have helped me reinforce key skills, provide additional practice, and revisit concepts in ways that are engaging rather than overwhelming. As a result, students are more willing to take academic risks, ask questions, and persevere through challenges. I have seen growth not only in their academic performance, but also in their confidence and willingness to try.\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, these materials have played a significant role in shaping the overall classroom environment. My students feel more supported and valued because they have access to tools designed to help them succeed. The classroom has become a space where learning feels safe, encouraging, and motivating. Students are more engaged, more focused, and more excited to participate in lessons. They take pride in their work and are beginning to recognize their own strengths and progress. This sense of ownership and confidence is especially meaningful for students who have previously struggled or felt discouraged in school settings.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, this project has allowed me to accomplish more than I could have without donor support. I am able to plan lessons with greater flexibility and creativity, knowing that I have the resources needed to support every learner. I can spend less time trying to make do with limited materials and more time focusing on instruction, individual support, and relationship building. These resources have also helped me create a more inclusive classroom where all students regardless of ability level now have access to meaningful learning experiences.\r\n\r\nYour support directly impacts my students by giving them the tools they need to grow academically, build confidence, and believe in themselves. The benefits of this project will extend far beyond a single lesson or school year. The skills, confidence, and positive learning experiences my students gain will continue to influence their academic journeys moving forward. Thank you for investing in my classroom and in the futures of my students. Your generosity has made a lasting difference, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to provide my students with the learning environment they deserve.","fullyFundedDate":1757957139358,"projectUrl":"project/the-little-things-to-make-a-big-impact/9437797/","projectTitle":"The Little Things to Make a Big Impact","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10066048_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751075773196","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10066048"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_72785","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":460,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":67,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":93,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"17.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":86.4,"schoolId":72785,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Sandusky Junior Senior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Sandusky Junior Senior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/sandusky-community-school-district/sandusky-high-school/72785"}
