We are a title I school, which means we have a significant amount of students under the poverty line. The teachers and staff at my school love our students. They become part of our lives and we get the most special job of impacting their lives. As a school counselor, I see and hear about many aspects of my students' lives, some of which are negative. My colleagues and I try our hardest to make our school a safe, welcoming and loving place for the students to come to. \r\n\r\nHowever, we don't always have the appropriate supplies to support our students. We try our best to utilize the supplies we have and often spend our own money to fill in gaps. This year, we had a major budget issue and we weren't able to purchase any supplies. My students were in a such a great need for headphones. It is incredibly difficult for my students to work without headphones, as they often work on the computer. \r\n\r\nWith your donation, I was able to provide headphones to my students. You are directly impacting my students' education.
