The students had no idea they were coming so soon. The moment they walked in and saw the boxes stacked in our classroom, they were filled with excitement. Many of them immediately asked, \"Are these really for us?\" and couldn't wait to start using them.\r\n\r\nWe've already put the wobble chairs to great use. Five of the seats are assigned to my students with IEPs and 504 plans who benefit from having extra movement options during the day. The other five chairs are part of a weekly rotation for the class, used during flexible seating, small-group work, and even as special rewards through Class Dojo. The chairs have quickly become one of the most popular and helpful tools in our room.\r\n\r\nAs we dive into new reading, writing, and math units, these wobble chairs are helping students stay focused, comfortable, and ready to learn. Students delight in using the legos and using their imagination. The magnetic tiles have provided curiosity and creativity! I have observed students experimenting with the polarity of the magnets. Each student has their own crayon boxes with new crayons in them and new markers! They love these items like treasures! These items are used daily! \r\nStudents wipe their desks and work spaces off daily with the wipes. We have had a healthy class and had full attendance regularly!\r\nThe play doh was a big hit and is used as a tactile tool for spelling, math and just creation times. Students squeal with delight and laughter when creating!\r\nAll of the items have brought so much joy into our classroom. Students are organized, happy and healthy while growing their brains. \r\nWe are all so grateful! One that we really liked was \"Watch Over Our Water,\" which was great to help students connect previous learning we had done on the importance of water with this new concept of reducing, reusing and recycling. We also liked the early learning set of Kaplan books. These were perfect for early readers to read on their own and learn new things independently.
