We use the write-and-wipe pockets daily for a variety of math and literacy center activities, as well as for their \"fast finisher\" activities. Students use them to trace and practice their letters and sounds, handwriting, and math skills — and they absolutely love it!\r\n\r\nWhen I first introduced the tracing pages, their excitement was contagious. They couldn't wait to dive in and start tracing. It's been amazing to watch them so focused and proud of their work. One of my favorite moments was when they gathered on the rug to trace together — they were helping one another, chatting, and laughing. It not only strengthened their academic skills but also built wonderful social and emotional connections.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students were so excited! They were asking all sorts of questions about how we would use everything and couldn't wait to get started. The organization bins have also made a big difference — it's so much easier for both me and the students to grab supplies quickly and keep everything neat and ready to go.\r\n\r\nRight now, my students are learning how to read with digraphs like ch, sh, th, and wh. It's so rewarding to see their progress — they've gone from learning individual letters and sounds to now blending them together and creating real words! These new materials have truly helped support that growth by giving them hands-on, engaging ways to practice their skills every day.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting our classroom and helping my students grow, learn, and shine!","fullyFundedDate":1750774782611,"projectUrl":"project/kindergarten-chaos-to-calm-storage-bins/9361544/","projectTitle":"Kindergarten Chaos to Calm: Storage Bins for Little Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wright","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10037445"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_33350","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":507,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":22,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":84,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":78.4,"schoolId":33350,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Salem Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Salem Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/utah/nebo-school-district/salem-elementary-school/33350"}
