We can now fund a \"School Store\" that incentivizes good behavior and following school-wide norms. All too often we assume that students in middle school have the necessities at school or that a school has the resources to provide supplies to each student; however, the realities what students do not have access to are harsh.\r\nWe are so incredibly grateful to the donors on this project. Students are thrilled at the prospect of earning fun things like Pokemon cards, fidgets, and toys, for example. \r\n\r\nThe essential school supply selections that were donated have created a school closet to fill needed backpacks and allow students to opportunities to \"shop\" for much needed supplies. You have bridged the achievement gap with your donation. \r\nWho could imagine that marginalized students with social, emotional, and behavior issues would be incentivized to come to school, but your meeting of their basic needs has changed their mindsets and allowed them to be ready to learn. I cannot begin to express to you just how simply proud we are to have the support from the generous donors on our side in this venture. The new technology you helped fund has opened doors that our students never imagined possible.\r\n\r\nIn the past, technology played a limited role in our lessons—but now, it's woven into daily learning. Students use interactive tools to collaborate on projects, conduct research, and solve real-world problems. For example, during science lessons, they can run virtual experiments that would be impossible to recreate in our classroom, helping them grasp complex concepts through exploration and immediate feedback. This hands-on engagement has made learning not only more dynamic but also more personal—students can pace themselves and revisit lessons when needed.\r\n\r\nWhat excites our students most is the interactive and creative freedom the technology gives them. They're not just reading about topics—they're building, designing, and experimenting. One group recently created a digital presentation that included their own recorded commentaries and animations, turning a traditional report into a lively multimedia story. Their pride and excitement were contagious.\r\n\r\nSome students have especially blossomed with this new technology. One quiet student who rarely spoke out in class now thrives as a design lead on group projects, honing both academic and leadership skills. Another student who struggled to stay engaged with printed materials now eagerly completes lessons using interactive literacy apps, often asking for extra time to explore new words and stories.\r\n\r\nYour donation has given our students more than equipment—it has given them confidence, curiosity, and the chance to see themselves as capable learners in a digital world.
