Having enough sensory items help minimize anxiety and eliminate potential disruptive behaviors.\r\nThe sensory timers have been incredibly helpful to motivate a few of my students to complete their independent work. I have been using the squishy balls to help 2 of my students to use hands appropriately. One of my students hit his head quite often and to prevent this, I have him hold a squishy ball.
