For our first year, we didn't really have any extra special supplies, because it was so new and we didn't know what we might need. Thanks to your donations, we were able to provide the students with Art Therapy resource books (for our Peer Leaders responsible for facilitating lessons,) mindful coloring books (for everyone,) and inclusive, conversational games and activities to get the communication going. \r\n\r\nWe were also able to provide a classroom Kindle Fire to help when our Artists forget their own iPads which are used for direct verbal communication. The Fire also has activities and games that help all the students share experiences.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your support of this amazing course and program.","fullyFundedDate":1742990312018,"projectUrl":"project/peer-to-peer-art-connection-celebratio/9198223/","projectTitle":"Peer to Peer Art: Connection, Celebration, and Especially Communication!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Speronza","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9850177_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732838606463","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9850177"},{"teacherId":9850177,"projectId":9155308,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for sending donations to my project \"Fuel Their Focus with Breakfast Bars and Snacks.\" My students were so grateful to have a place that they could recharge and rejuvenate their bodies with a little food.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first found out that the snack station was available they were so excited.
