Which was great for the kids and the staff but those days were filled with lots of fun and learning because of your gift of Stem items for them to use. We have a huge group in a small space, with lots of noise . Many children are overwhelmed with that and the Stem items made their space calmer and of course more enjoyable. The kids were so excited . I hope as you could see by the photos that were sent earlier.\r\nI started this Stem corner in the gym during bad weather days about 4 years ago. Of course there was no money for new items so everything was second hand or those items on the no longer need table. That was fine for a while but in the back of my head I thought \"they need better\" . I had purchased a few items but as you know it gets expensive fast. That is when I found Donors choose. I was so amazed that my project was fully funded. I had written an in-district grant and it was denied because it was for lunch recess and not tied to any specific educational activity.\r\nI want to thank you for your donation. Not only are the children learning and not really knowing it but they go back into the classroom ready to learn again.
