We had over 100 families come play literacy games, choose books, take part in readers theater plays, and eat s'mores!\r\nOur Roosevelt families started Literacy Night off by taking a photo in front of a camping background. They got to take home a polaroid of their family! Next, families moved through literacy games rotations. Kindergarten students worked on letter sounds and CVC words. Our first grade students played games with blends, digraphs and R-controlled vowels.
