It has allowed my students to read meaningful stories about common and historical struggles that humans face. It has helped students to gain a new perspective and better understanding about the world, and it has caused students to ask profound questions about justice, equality, and human nature. \r\n\r\nMy students really enjoyed reading the memoirs that this project provided and were amazed at some of the challenges that the authors expressed in their works. Many of the chapters of these texts were funny and insightful and prodded students to make connections to their own lives and the world around them. \r\n\r\nWe really appreciate your part in making this project a reality.
