The new chairs have completely transformed our classroom, giving students a safe and comfortable space where they can focus, collaborate, and explore ideas without distractions. During our first lesson using the new materials, I noticed students sitting together in small groups, fully engaged in a hands-on science activity, discussing their observations, and excitedly sharing ideas.\r\n\r\nThe scented, flexible, and mechanical pencils, along with the fun erasers, have been a huge hit! Students were thrilled when they first saw them, and these incentives are already motivating them to make positive choices, take pride in their work, and stay engaged throughout lessons.\r\n\r\nBecause of these resources, I was able to lead more collaborative and creative projects that weren't possible before. For example, students are now able to design, build, and test experiments in small groups without worrying about broken chairs or sharing limited supplies. Your support has directly helped my students engage fully, focus better, and feel proud of their learning environment.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making a real difference in my classroom—my students and I are so grateful to you for helping us grow, learn, and thrive!","fullyFundedDate":1757550044209,"projectUrl":"project/replenish-and-revive/9671565/","projectTitle":"Replenish and Revive","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Huggins","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3610552_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1463827606800","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/leslie-huggins"},{"teacherId":3610552,"projectId":9468940,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom with the Magnetic Mobile Double-Sided Dry Erase Board and accessories! My students were thrilled when they first saw the board—many jumped right in to draw diagrams and share their ideas. Having a movable board has turned every space in our classroom into a place for collaboration and active learning, and it's been wonderful to see students confidently share their thinking in real time.\r\n\r\nAlready, we've used the board during our science lessons on waves, where students drew and labeled diagrams together in groups. The visual, hands-on approach kept everyone engaged and encouraged meaningful discussion. Next, we'll be using the board for energy transfer and ecosystems projects, where students will continue building confidence as they collaborate and present their ideas. With the poster boards, models, and crafting tools, they are no longer limited to just reading or hearing about science concepts—they can now design, build, and share their own creations. Recently, my 6th graders used the materials to build 3D models of molecules, and it was amazing to watch them connect what we've learned in class to something they could hold and explain in their own words.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies first arrived, the room buzzed with excitement. Students were eager to explore what we could make together, and they immediately began brainstorming ideas for projects. One group even said, \"Now we can really show what's in our heads!\" Seeing their enthusiasm reminded me how important it is to give students the chance to express their learning in creative ways.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students include larger projects where they will use the supplies to model ecosystems and energy transfer. These projects will help them not only understand science content more deeply but also build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. When our box of new supplies arrived—including the tagboard, scissors, and microscope—my students were filled with excitement and curiosity. They gathered around eagerly as I unpacked the materials, and the \"oohs\" and \"wows\" especially came when we unveiled the microscope. One student exclaimed, \"We have a real scientist tool now!\"\r\n\r\nWe've already put the materials to good use. The scissors and tagboard are being used in our interactive science notebooks and model-building projects. During our unit on plant structures and functions, students created detailed diagrams of plant cells using the tagboard and labeled parts with precision using the new scissors. Most excitingly, the microscope was the star of our \"Microscopic World\" lab. Students were able to examine onion skin, pond water, and even their own cheek cells. It was incredible to see their faces light up as they discovered a whole new world they couldn't see with the naked eye.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donation, my students are not just learning—they're experiencing science. As we move forward, we'll continue exploring the microscopic world, and soon we'll be launching a \"Science Detective\" project where students will use the microscope to help solve real-life mystery scenarios involving unknown samples. Your support has empowered my students to think, question, and create like scientists.
