The owl pellets were a huge success. They were nervous at first because they thought it was gross but once they started to find the bones from the prey that the owls had eaten they were hooked. They then put the bones together to guess which animals the owls had eaten. This was such an impactful project for them.\n We used the rock tumbler many times and they loved observing the changes in the rocks over time. They shared some of the rocks with staff on campus and took some home to share with their families. We are currently collecting rocks to complete another project this year. \n The butterfly kit and the ant farm were also very loved by my class. They enjoyed watching the paths that the ants made and were fascinated by how they worked together. I will do this again this year. They loved watching the butterflies emerge from the chrysalis. The butterflies were beautiful. They wanted to keep them as puts but I convinced them to release them into nature. \n Thank you so much for provided these enriching, priceless opportunities. They ask me everyday if they can play a specific game. All three grade levels enjoy playing different ones. My 5th/3rd graders love splash! My 4th graders enjoy the tower and math, and multiplication bingo is a hit with all three grade levels. These games are challenging my students with their multiplication facts while having fun. Two of my fifth graders and 1 fourth grader are currently on their 7 facts. I have one student who is in 3rd grade and knows all his facts! I have been working on multiplication facts all year. By engaging students in hands on learning with fun games/activities encourages learning growth. For students who are still struggling with their facts I provide a multiplication chart for them to use. Most of my students did not know how to use a multiplication chart but now have an understanding and can independently find the answers on their own.","fullyFundedDate":1742582347600,"projectUrl":"project/learning-multiplication-is-fun-engaging/9005242/","projectTitle":"Learning Multiplication Is Fun! These fun and engaging file folder games help struggling students understand some of the skills we have been working on. Students can also easily work on these skills independently if they don't need one-on-one support.
