For example, students were able to master characteristics of a variety of 3D shapes through the 3D Bug shape crafts. The second graders were introduced to multiplication and used a variety of multiplication games, tools, and strategies to practice those skills and strategies. As a result, they are so excited to know multiplication. \r\nStudents were able to practice forming a paragraph by engaging in an interactive writing activity. As the year closes, they will be making a \"Bucket List\" of things they plan to do and learn over the summer. Another great hands on, engaging writing activity. Recently, they practiced their cursive handwriting by copying a beautiful Mother's Day poem (purchased from TPT) onto fancy handwriting paper (purchased from TPT).
