My students and I are beyond moved by your generosity and commitment to supporting our literacy efforts. Because of your kindness, our class received a subscription to Time for Kids, several antiracism and multicultural-focused books and a bookcase to house them, along with a wonderful collection of expository texts (Who HQ: Historical Moments #1). Each donation has added value to our learning environment.\r\n\r\nTime for Kids is a phenomenal resource that fosters global-mindedness and supports analysis and critical thinking. The content is age-appropriate and allows students to examine current and relevant global events. This resource is also an excellent tool to help students learn about and use credible sources in the research process.\r\n\r\nThe antiracism and multicultural books reflect high interest and are aligned to students' reading levels. Oftentimes, students, in our upper grades, do not have a wide selection of books that are on their grade level and allow them to see themselves in the characters featured in literature. Students are excited about these books because several of the titles connect to current events. The expository texts provide detailed information on events in history and the bookcase helps our newly received books remain organized.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for your generous donation and providing literary resources that support my students' love of reading. You have helped our class have an even better start to a new school year.","fullyFundedDate":1746971160243,"projectUrl":"project/help-my-students-read-more/9248206/","projectTitle":"Help My Students Read More!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. S.
