Your donation has directly helped impact my students. \r\n\r\nI use daily journals every day for students' Warm-Ups and planning phases of their film projects. Students who are unable to afford notebooks have been able to fully participate in the class. I also now have plenty of pencils for students to borrow if they forgot one at home or can't afford one.\r\n\r\nI teach in a Social & Gender Equity Magnet where we learn about different social justice issues. The recycling basket has helped my students practice sustainability and be more environmentally conscious. The broom and dustpan have also helped the students with this, and helped them be more responsible. \r\n\r\nIn addition to environmentally conscious students, I have many artists in the classroom. Your investment is more than just a financial contribution; it is a direct investment in the future of students who are dedicated to becoming compassionate leaders and lifelong learners.\r\nYour support allows us to continue fostering a generation that is mindful and critical of changing the world for the better. Our students don't just learn about the world from behind a deskâthey actively engage with it. Whether they are participating in Centropa's Milton Wolf campaign or mobilizing to collect donations for local wildfire victims, your funding ensures they have the resources necessary to make a tangible impact on our community.\r\nWe know that in these difficult and changing times that having access to technology in the classroom not only extends the learning experience beyond the physical space, but it also fosters a collective and collaborative community of 21st century learners. These learners are developing critical skills in utilizing technology as a tool for success and your donation is pivotal to their success. We use the Chromebooks every single day- for reading, annotating, research, design, creation etc. that these new chromebooks have breathed new life into our classroom and reinvigorated students at the brink of shutting down. The kids were SO excited to learn that we had new chromebooks- many of them have chromebooks that are so old and outdated that everything takes \"decades\" to load if they ever do.Some were so excited they couldn't help but hug the devices out of sheer joy. It was both laughable and endearing to witness. The kids get frustrated that the Google slides they are creating freezes, or the CANVA project fails to save but now they're creating digital products most adults would pay through the nose to have done for them. If you take a look at some of the pictures submitted along with this letter you will see some samples of the products and work the kids are doing. Again, we, I, simply cannot thank you enough. \r\nAt SAGE, we pride ourselves on being a program for everyone. We strive to dismantle restrictive social constructs and gender norms, allowing students to embrace their true selves. Your contribution supports a curriculum where emotional intelligence is valued just as highly as academic achievement, ensuring every student feels included, reflected, and empowered. Your generosity helps us continue to pay it forward by lifting our communities through service and action. We are, I am, eternally thankful. \r\nMy gratitude for your generosity, for your consideration, your willingness to take a chance to help my kids and my school achieve our dreams will never be able to be expressed loudly or frequently enough to fully explain the profundity of what I feel. I am privileged and blessed to have people like you in my corner, in my community and in the world. Thank you for believing in our mission and for providing our students with the tools to turn their dreams into reality. We look forward to sharing the stories of success and service that your generosity has made possible.
