These instruments provided them the opportunity to de-stress and build positive connections with myself and their peers. \r\n\tStudents were curious when the packages started arriving. I asked them to help me unbox them and they did so with great excitement. They immediately began exploring the instruments and helping me discard our well-loved, but older instruments. A number of students expressed some ideas about how we could utilize these instruments in sessions and performances.
