These calculators help us solve complex math problems in class as well as prepare for state and national testing like CMAS, PSAT and SAT. Having a classroom set of calculators means my students have access to these everyday, not just when they check them out of the library. During testing season, we still have the ability to use these calculators because they are part of our classroom and not have to be returned to the library or shared with other classes. Using these calculators also help students prepare for college or trade schools where similar tools will be used. \r\nHaving enough to use in class allows students to collaborate and share their experiences with the same tools versus having multiple tools to learn and collaborate on.
