They were so excited to see all the new games available to them and cannot wait to return to the library to get a break not only from the classroom and screens, but the cold outside. \r\n\r\nWe as a school have been seeing a rise in teamwork and behavior issues, but these games are teaching students how to work with one another to solve problems as a team. I have seen students discuss with each other the best route to take to win a game or how to work together to balance items. They are also giving each other tips on how to play and win.\r\n\r\nThey are not only learning teamwork, but how to share and how to regulate their emotions. Students are learning how to react when they lose and how to support each other through losses and wins. These games have been a wonderful addition to to these students' lives and learning.
