We start every single day with a group meeting revolving around stretching, learning yoga, and deep breathing, and the feeling of calm is palpable as soon as you walk into our classroom most days. Practicing these skills each morning with these specialized materials not only sets the tone for that day, but also provides us valuable skills to use throughout the day when our feelings become overwhelming or calm is hard to find. \r\nNot only that, but the children are able to find better focus and engagement during their free exploration time right after we use these materials. Because they start their day with ideas of peace, calm, and the self-empowerment in knowing we can handle hard things, the rest of our day becomes more about what we are experiencing because we don't have to step away from our learning to find regulation. We have the skills we need because we practice them all the time! \r\nSome children like the materials so much they choose to use them during their free exploration time as well! Thank you so much for the thoughtful donations - they really do help our students each and every day.","fullyFundedDate":1728902550403,"projectUrl":"project/wiggle-away-those-worries-and-woes/8871359/","projectTitle":"Wiggle Away Those Worries and Woes","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pyper","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8934880_orig.jpg?crop=2880,2880,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1728672226043","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8934880"},{"teacherId":5335808,"projectId":8542583,"letterContent":"Thank you for helping fund the supplies needed to create a safe space with visuals for our students.
