Many of my students are nonverbal, so their joy was shown through smiles, focused attention, and eagerness to explore the materials right away. The sensory toys and puzzles are now an important part of our daily routines, helping students build fine motor skills and self-regulation. The art supplies gave my students a meaningful way to express themselves, while the books support engagement through visuals, textures, and shared reading experiences.\r\nThese resources are already making a powerful impact in our classroom by supporting communication, independence, and emotional regulation. My students are using the materials during structured learning times, sensory breaks, and small-group instruction to practice turn-taking, following directions, and making choices. The floor pillows are the biggest hit. The kids can grab a pillow, their favorite book, or toy, and have carpet time to explore and self-regulate. Our next steps include using the puzzles to support early math and cognitive skills, incorporating the books into literacy and communication lessons, and expanding art activities that encourage creativity and self-expression. \r\nBecause of your generosity, my students have access to tools that meet their unique needs and help them feel successful, calm, and confident every day.
