My students will be able to use the Early Simple Machine set and Creative Lego Brick sets to understand how machines work and how to build within a collaborative group that is able to finish a project. The students will be given several opportunities within the week to create a simple machine and write about how they made their design and share this information with their classmates. This way students can either build upon an existing creation or make one of their own. This will allow my students to see how creativity can bring joy to others and be useful in their everyday lives.
