Since receiving the materials, outdoor time has been transformed! The students have so many more options. They are more creative and engaged in play. We have the typical play structure and balls on our playground, but we were lacking alternate choices. We now have 2 sensory table areas with wonderful items to fill them with, such as kinetic sand, plastic animals, scoops and funnels, and more. We also have a balance beam and play equipment of throw and catch game that is sized appropriately for TK students. These small additions have kids playing in an area longer, communicating and cooperating, and looking forward to outdoor time more than anything else in our day. Outdoor time is so important in my transitional kindergarteners' development, and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to choose items that have made a profound difference in their day.","fullyFundedDate":1777051080973,"projectUrl":"project/enhancing-outdoor-play-everyday/10196435/","projectTitle":"Enhancing Outdoor Play Everyday!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Pearson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3780215"},{"teacherId":3826187,"projectId":10465187,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting my students with new watercolor paints and watercolor paper!\r\nMy students enjoy art and the projects that they create during our learning units using watercolors are absolutely gorgeous.
