Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in our classroom. Each pair of headphones represents more than just a school supply. Headphones give students the opportunity to learn with fewer distractions, hear instruction clearly, practice important skills independently, and feel successful while using our digital learning programs.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, it means so much to know that people outside of our classroom believe in my students and are willing to invest in their education. Classroom supplies are used constantly, and having strong, dependable headphones means I can spend less time worrying about broken materials and more time focusing on teaching and helping my students grow.\r\n\r\nMy second graders are curious, energetic, and eager to learn, and your kindness helps me give them the tools they need to do their very best. Please know that your gift is being used, appreciated, and cared for every day. Thank you for supporting our classroom, and helping make learning a little easier and a lot more meaningful. This project is primarily for my 4th graders. In my music room I have them from pre-k till 5th grade. As they get older it gets harder to motivate them to participate in class, so I am always bringing in new activities to keep engagement up!\r\nIn 2nd grade we focused on rhythm and drumming. In 3rd grade we worked on learning to play ukulele, and believe it or not they get burnt out and bored with these eventually. In 5th grade I teach how to read music on the staff and then piano.\r\n\r\nBringing in recorders for 4th grade is really changing the game as for as engagement and learning to read music in my school. Also, having a curriculum such as Record Express makes my planning so much easier. The students are using the rhythmic foundations they learned in earlier years, and are learning to read the music they will need for piano next year. They love it and are excited to keep learning songs and are even practicing at home.","fullyFundedDate":1760693632879,"projectUrl":"project/all-aboard-the-recorder-express/9664290/","projectTitle":"All Aboard the Recorder Express","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vining","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7299444_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1593916675275","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7299444"},{"teacherId":7299444,"projectId":9497039,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for contributing to the success of my young musicians. One of the toughest parts of teaching is motivating students do complete their work. The Stick Together mosaic poster challenges students to have good behavior as a whole school. Every class students have the opportunity to earn stickers to add to the poster, and we will not get to see the completed picture until the students have filled up the poster. This gives students ownership in the classroom and they don't want to let their peers down. Your donation also went to adding little prizes to my classroom treasure box for students who go above and beyond my expectations. The balloon pump and VGA to USB-C cable have been used by me so often as well as by my coworkers for music programs, social studies fairs, and behavior reward parties.
