Thanks to your contribution, we now have the tools we need to dive deep into our scientific inquiry and make a real impact on our understanding of the environment around us.\r\n\r\nOne of the exciting projects we're currently working on is Garden pH Wars: Comparing Łeezh and Tú Quality. This project, led by a group of student-researchers, focuses on testing the pH levels of different soils in our school garden to determine how soil quality affects plant growth. With the water and soil testing kits you helped provide, students are now able to conduct precise tests, collect data, and analyze their results firsthand. The hands-on experience has been invaluable, and they are learning to apply scientific principles to real-world problems.\r\n\r\nOur students are working with Native American plants such as Ikaz (sugar cane), Radish hit'aan, and Apache Sunflower. These plants are deeply connected to our community, and testing the soil quality for their growth helps our students understand the relationship between traditional agriculture and environmental science.\r\n\r\nWhen we first received the materials, there was an instant spark of excitement in the classroom. The students couldn't wait to begin using the new tools, and it was incredible to see their enthusiasm as they began testing the soil and water samples. It truly brought our classroom lessons to life, and the group worked together seamlessly, each student bringing their unique strengths to the project.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are planning to extend our research by testing additional water sources and examining how environmental factors, such as pH levels, influence plant health and growth. The next steps for our student-researchers involve analyzing the data we've collected so far and making predictions based on our findings. We are excited to continue learning and collaborating, and we can't wait to share our results with you.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your generous support. Your contribution has provided us with the resources we need to become better scientists, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to explore the world around us in this hands-on way.","fullyFundedDate":1725222449773,"projectUrl":"project/exploring-our-environment-hands-on-wate/8624065/","projectTitle":"Exploring Our Environment: Hands-On Water and Soil Testing","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Jeniffer G.
