We ended up with great attendance and students (and their families) got to make and take some great crafts. There were many other activities there, but your donations made it possible to buy amazing craft supplies for some really cool crafts. \r\nParticipants got to make scarab beetle necklaces out of the sculpey bake clay. They painted them with paint pens and wore them home. They visited a face painting station and got Egyptian symbols painted on their cheeks, or Egyptian makeup put on. They also got to have beads put in their hair like Egyptians would have worn. They enjoyed building miniature pyramids out of tiny wooden blocks and wood glue. My favorite activity was that they got to make a little doll into a mummy and decorate a wooden sarcophagus for it.
