Students in grades 4-5 were excited to dive into the world of Wonder during their reading novel-study time. They learned comprehension strategies, vocabulary, and lessons on building character while reading Wonder. There were several fourth and fifth grade students who attended summer camp, so this made it possible for those students to have individual access to a book. \r\n\r\nStudents were really appreciative to learn reading through a novel-study versus using a traditional reading program. Students learned the value of independent and group-study while reading.
