I always want my students to be curious about what they are learning and to feel excited about coming into the classroom. But, of course, having those kinds of experiences also means having the right resources, money, and that is where your support has made such a huge difference.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students have had the opportunity to use resources that have made them more engaged in their learning. I've seen them become more curious, more creative, and more willing to participate in the activities we do in class. Sometimes, something as simple as having a new resource or a different way of doing an activity can completely change the energy in the classroom.\r\n\r\nWhat I really love is seeing my students get excited about their work. Instead of just completing an assignment because they have to, they get opportunities to explore their ideas, try new things, work with their classmates, and be creative. Those are the moments that make teaching so rewarding for me.\r\n\r\nThere are also students who may not always be the first ones to raise their hands or participate. Having engaging materials and activities gives them another way to become involved. It gives them the chance to discover something they are good at and, hopefully, build a little more confidence along the way.\r\n\r\nI'm also very grateful for DonorsChoose because it gives teachers a way to bring some of the ideas we have for our classrooms to life. Teachers have so many ideas about what can help their students, but we can't always provide everything on our own. Having people who are willing to support those ideas means so much.\r\n\r\nSo, from me and from all of my students, thank you. Thank you for believing that our students deserve engaging and meaningful learning experiences. Thank you for supporting teachers and for helping us create classrooms where students can be curious, creative, and excited to learn.\r\n\r\nYour support may be a contribution to a classroom project, but to us, it becomes so much more than that.
