Your kindness and support have made a meaningful difference in the lives of our children, especially through the reading materials and listening activities your donation helped provide.\r\n\r\nFor many of our students, learning to enjoy stories and books can be a challenge. Some students struggle with communication, attention, language development, or sensory needs that make traditional reading activities difficult. Because of your generosity, we were able to provide engaging and accessible reading materials that captured our students' attention and encouraged them to participate in story time with excitement and joy.\r\n\r\nYour donation has done more than simply provide materials. It has created opportunities for connection, communication, and imagination. Stories help our students build vocabulary, strengthen listening skills, improve comprehension, and develop important social-emotional skills. Through books, they learn about feelings, friendships, routines, and the world around them. Most importantly, they experience the joy that comes from being part of a shared learning experience.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our children and for helping make reading a positive and enjoyable experience for them. Because of you, my students have had the opportunity to learn, explore, and grow in new and exciting ways.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the new dramatic play resources to create engaging centers in our classroom, including the hair salon, a veterinary clinic, and soon, a car wash. One special moment that truly stood out was when we first introduced the hair salon center. The students were incredibly excited and immediately dove into imaginative play—taking turns as stylists and customers, practicing conversation skills, and showing so much creativity. It was wonderful to see them collaborate, use new vocabulary, and build confidence through play.\r\n\r\nWe have just set up our new vet center, and the students are already eager to jump in and begin caring for their \"animals.\" Next, we are excited to implement the car wash center before the end of the school year. Each of these dramatic play areas gives students the opportunity to build important social, language, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on, meaningful way.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible. With being brand new came many stipulation in order to keep the building looking its best. To maintain the districts investment, so to speak. We were told early on that we could not bring old furniture, staple in the walls, or puncture the walls at all.\r\n Having the donor choose project funded gave me the ability to be creative in the ways that I hung decorations, student art, and information around the room. It also help personalize the area and make it feel inviting for the children. \r\n I appreciate all the donations to help me with this endeavor, it helped make a very stressful time in my career more bearable.
