Students earn tickets throughout the week for demonstrating positive behaviors such as kindness, responsibility, and perseverance, and on Fridays we gather together for \"Plinko time.\" Students use their earned tickets for a chance to win small prizes, and the excitement surrounding this routine has made positive behavior something students actively work toward. Another teacher even shared with me that students talk about Plinko time as one of their favorite things at school, which truly highlights the impact of this project.\r\n When students first saw the Plinko board and prizes, their reaction was immediate excitement with big smiles, and lots of questions about how they could earn tickets. Almost right away, students began asking, \"What can I do to earn a ticket?\" I make a point to stock the rewards with items students are genuinely interested in, which helps keep them engaged and motivated. I've seen students encourage one another to make good choices, creating a more positive and supportive classroom environment.\r\n Moving forward, we will continue using the Plinko board to reinforce PBIS expectations while connecting positive behavior to classroom lessons and schoolwide goals. Students are learning that their choices matter and that positive behavior is worth celebrating. Thank you for giving our students something they truly look forward to each week and for helping us build a positive, motivating school culture.
