These materials have made an immediate and meaningful impact on both our daily routines and the learning environment we work so hard to cultivate.\r\n\r\nThe labels have helped us create a more organized and efficient classroom. Students use them to categorize their writing folders, book bins, interactive notebooks, and project materials. This simple tool has significantly reduced confusion, saved transition time, and helped students take ownership of their learning space. For many of my students, especially those who thrive with clear structure, the labeled materials have made it easier to stay focused and feel confident navigating their tasks.\r\n\r\nThe composition notebooks have been an incredible gift. Every student now has a dedicated place to write, reflect, and build their skills. These notebooks are used daily for reading responses, quick writes, vocabulary practice, grammar exercises, and personal reflections. Having their own notebook allows each student to create a meaningful record of their growth throughout the year. Several students who did not have access to needed supplies at home were especially grateful—they now feel included, prepared, and ready to learn each day.\r\n\r\nYour donation has not only provided essential resources, but it has also sent a message to our students that their learning matters and that our community believes in them. Thank you for supporting their education, creativity, and confidence. One project that stands out is a recent group activity where students worked together to put number lines together with all rational numbers using the new tools. Having access to quality supplies has allowed them to stay engaged, collaborate more effectively, and focus on the actual learning rather than worrying about whether they have the right materials. It has truly helped create a smoother, more organized learning environment.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement. They were thrilled to know that people they had never met believed in them enough to provide these resources. Many students immediately wanted to try them out, especially the flexible seating, and the energy in the room was full of gratitude and curiosity. That moment reminded me of how powerful it is for students to feel supported not only by their teacher, but by a larger community as well.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, my students are beginning a new unit that requires hands-on practice and plenty of opportunities to apply what they're learning in real-world scenarios. With these resources, they'll be able to dive deeper into the lessons and explore concepts with greater confidence. The next step for us is to continue building on this momentum, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning and show pride in the progress they are making.","fullyFundedDate":1748921756571,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-learn-and-grow-with-the-right-to/9369263/","projectTitle":"Help Us Learn and Grow with the Right Tools!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Butler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10040066"},{"teacherId":9748004,"projectId":9075629,"letterContent":"My students excelled in this unit due to the supplies gifted to us from you! Many students said they found it much easier to follow along using the graphic novel and others said they found more interest in the content after being able to learn more about Shakespeare himself prior.\r\n\r\nWe used mixed materials and media to be able to make it through this unit with as much comprehension and excellence as we could! We used the \"Who was William Shakespeare?\" prior to get students engaged and interested in our author. Then while reading, we used the graphic novel, \"No Fear Shakespeare,\" and a mix of audio and videos. For my ELL students, they were thrilled to see we were supplied with an English- Spanish version so that they could deeper understand than the unit, more than just following along. Level 1 ELL students tend to spend most classes completing vocabulary, but with the ENG-SPA books, they were able to complete more in depth vocabulary, as well as comprehension of the storyline itself. They were able to further participate in group conversations and even complete HOT questions using the translation provided. \r\n\r\nMy students and I thank you greatly for everything!","fullyFundedDate":1745328121556,"projectUrl":"project/romeo-and-juliet-unit/9075629/","projectTitle":"Romeo and Juliet Unit","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Smythe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9748004_orig.jpg?crop=2002,2002,x161,y510&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726757009015","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9748004"},{"teacherId":9078497,"projectId":8887379,"letterContent":"I wanted to take a moment to share how impactful the headphones have been for my English Learner (EL) students.
