When they first saw the materials, they were curious and eager to try something new. They loved discovering that the paint sticks could create bright, bold colors while giving them more control than traditional liquid paint. The paint sticks were especially helpful for my kindergarten students because they were easy for small hands to hold and use. Students were able to focus on their creativity while exploring color, line, shape, and details. Seeing their excitement as they created their artwork was such a rewarding experience.\r\n\r\nOur Kindergarten Rodeo Art project has now been completed, and the students were incredibly proud of their finished artwork. The tempera paint sticks helped them bring their ideas to life and gave them the confidence to experiment with a new art material. We will continue using these resources in upcoming projects throughout the school year. My goal is to give every student opportunities to explore different materials, develop their artistic skills, and express their individual creativity. One of our first projects was creating colorful abstract pieces with tempera sticks, and it was amazing to see them layer and blend colors like true artists.\r\n\r\nWhen they first saw the supplies, their faces lit up with excitement. Some gasped, others kept saying, \"We've never had this before!\" It was such a joyful moment and reminded me how much access to quality materials can inspire creativity.\r\n\r\nMy students will continue to use these materials to create a series of expressive artworks that will be displayed in a small classroom gallery.
