We use them in a variety of ways—during whole group read-alouds, in study groups, and as part of small book club interventions. This flexibility allows us to meet students where they are and support their individual reading and comprehension needs in engaging and meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nBeyond strengthening literacy skills, these stories open the door to important historical events and perspectives. Not only have my students absolutely loved our new items, but their investment and excitement for reading has grown immensly. My goal of this project was to grow my students' love and interest in learning and the results have done just that! \r\n\r\nMy students have especially loved the reading phones. They love reading to self even more now and love getting to hear themselves as they read. They use them consistently and always \"show off\" to me when they are using them. \r\n\r\nTheir new nonfiction books have also been a huge hit! We are using them for our research project and the students are loving them. Best of all, I used to notice students never choosing to read nonfiction, and now it is most of their first choices! \r\n\r\nAgain, I truly cannot thank you enough for your generous donations. It was so much fun watching them experiment with different approaches and listening to the thoughtful discussions they had with one another along the way.\r\n\r\nThe airplane building sets were a huge success and greatly enhanced student learning during this lesson.
