My students enjoy the STEM challenge of working together to create various marble runs and creative structures using the Magnatiles. These are the most popular items my students gravitate toward when they have free time to explore. \r\n In the area of SEL, my students enjoy using the calming figure 8 stickers to trace their finger around when they feel the need for some movement. They also use their calming pillowcase and bubble timer when it is their turn at our Calm Corner. \r\n Probably one the most important pieces of furniture you helped fund was the 2 green lap desks. Many students excitedly request use of the lap desks to see the whiteboard or tv a bit closer when taking notes or they opt to use it when they work with a partner. \r\n In our small reading groups, my students always ask to use the reading guide strips to help them stay on track with their reading.
