From the very beginning, they were eager to explore everything. They have especially enjoyed activities like the letter treasure hunt and the mystery sound box, which have made learning engaging and interactive. Some of the most loved and frequently used resources have been the number sense puzzles and the magnetic 10 frame boards. We have really dived into math this second semester, and these hands-on tools have made a meaningful difference in how much our students enjoy learning.\r\n\r\nThe whiteboard markers have also been incredibly helpful, as we use them every single day throughout our lessons. Students love writing and erasing while they practice their names, numbers, and the alphabet. The stencils have sparked so much creativity, allowing students to express themselves through art, and the glitter glue has been an exciting addition that brings extra joy to their projects. Another highly impactful resource is our CVC builder chart, which keeps students actively engaged as we work together to identify sounds and build simple words. The bracelets were also very special to our class—we used them to celebrate Black History Month, creating a meaningful and memorable experience for our classroom community.\r\n\r\nThe visual timer has been another wonderful addition to our daily routine. Students love checking it and using it as a guide throughout the day. It helps them build independence and better understand transitions, and they get so excited when the timer goes off. Thank you so much for your generosity and for supporting our classroom. Your donations are not only providing valuable learning tools, but also bringing joy, confidence, and excitement into our students' everyday experiences. 💛","fullyFundedDate":1768586627177,"projectUrl":"project/tools-that-turn-lessons-into-adventures/10016717/","projectTitle":"Tools That Turn Lessons into Adventures","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pam","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10403486_orig.png?crop=988,988,x221,y113&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768318549448","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10403486"},{"teacherId":8896991,"projectId":9995411,"letterContent":"Your generous donation has made a meaningful difference in the organization and daily flow of our classroom. With the new storybooks, games, and learning tools, our students are discovering how to recognize, name, and express their emotions in positive ways. At just three years old, children are beginning to build the foundations of empathy, kindness, and self-awareness. Thanks to your support, we now have the resources to nurture these essential social-emotional skills in a fun, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate way.\r\n\r\nThe books you provided have quickly become classroom favorites. Stories like A Little spot of feelings, David goes to school, The Crayon book of feelings have opened the door for wonderful conversations about happiness, sadness, anger, fear, and love. During circle time, our students eagerly point out how the characters feel, relate them to their own experiences, and learn that all feelings are okay. These story moments have become powerful opportunities for connection, comfort, and confidence building.\r\n\r\nThe hands on tools from emotion cards and puppets to mirrors and sensory materials have transformed our learning centers. Children use them daily to role-play different scenarios, express their feelings safely, and practice calming strategies. We have seen quieter students gain the confidence to share, more energetic ones discover new ways to self-regulate, and everyone learn to listen and show care for one another. The impact is truly visible in the smiles, hugs, and kind words shared across the classroom each day.\r\n\r\nBeyond the classroom, your generosity is also helping our families. We've been able to send home emotion themed activities and book suggestions, allowing parents to continue these valuable lessons at home. Many families have shared their gratitude for the way their children are learning to talk about feelings an essential skill that will benefit them for years to come.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, our students are not just learning their ABCs and 123s; they are learning about compassion, communication, and emotional strength. These are the building blocks of lifelong learning and healthy relationships. You have helped create an environment where every child feels seen, valued, and supported.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in the power of early education specially in 3 year old students and for investing in the emotional well-being of our youngest learners. Your generosity has made a lasting impact, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our school community.\r\n\r\nWith heartfelt appreciation,\r\nMs. DeLeon 🦋💜\r\nPre-K 3 Teacher\r\nRainbow Dreams Early Learning Academy","fullyFundedDate":1747400904875,"projectUrl":"project/rainbow-classroom-positive-place/9100772/","projectTitle":"Rainbow Classroom, Positive Place!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. DeLeon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8896991_orig.jpg?crop=1158,1158,x0,y65&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1681502218296","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8896991"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_95146","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":231,"numTeachers":10,"percentFrplEligible":1,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":66,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":21,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - Pre-K","studentTeacherRatio":"23.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":56.8,"schoolId":95146,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Rainbow Dreams Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Rainbow Dreams Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/nevada/nevada-department-of-education/rainbow-dreams-academy/95146"}
