Out of breath, red-faced, racing down the hallways, and bumping into walls like newly-running puppies...my poor phone camera unfortunately couldn't keep up with them. They had so much fun, and so did I, laughing at their antics.\r\n\r\nSecondly, the wealth of items you all were able to donate ensured that every hunting group got great prizes, so it was rewarding for all participants. Students were shocked at the bounty they uncovered in the huge gift bags, and couldn't believe they got portable phone batteries and reusable water bottles. In a Title 1 school, those are two luxury conveniences that our students often can't afford, but it makes a huge difference in their well-being during the school day.\r\n\r\nLastly, my Muslim students who just finished a month of fasting were very excited for all of the Halal-friendly snacks. However, though you won't see the students in the photos, the most important purpose of this event was to help this particular group of students feel seen and their holiday celebrated for this first time at our school. They were so happy that so many people were participating in an event inspired by their cultural traditions, and of course, thrilled with their own prizes.\r\n\r\nThank you so much from all of us, myself, the hunters, and QHSLS Culture Club.","fullyFundedDate":1742493570918,"projectUrl":"project/eid-mubarak-we-will-celebrate-with-a-ma/9107217/","projectTitle":"Eid Mubarak!
