With the new funding and materials, they proudly represented our school in middle-school tournaments, practiced twice a week for 2-3 months and built new skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, respect, and more. Most importantly, we've seen them grow in confidence and self-esteem—something truly priceless.\r\n\r\nThe moment our students first saw the new equipment, their faces lit up. They couldn't wait to get on the field and put everything to use. One special moment was watching a group of students who were previously shy step up as leaders during practice, supporting their teammates and celebrating each other's progress.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our current unit on teamwork and goal-setting, students are using the equipment to plan mini scrimmages, coach one another, and reflect on personal growth—both on and off the field as well as playing morning futsal which is new to most.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving our students opportunities that will stay with them long after the final whistle.","fullyFundedDate":1743515902740,"projectUrl":"project/active-youth-through-sports-are-active-l/9172568/","projectTitle":"Active youth through sports are active learners in Class.","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Mouyaka","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9968436_orig.png?crop=1496,1496,x256,y80&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1743980952678","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9968436"},{"teacherId":4152446,"projectId":4971048,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping me provide rich and diverse reading opportunities for my students.
